We Should Fight For. Lola’s poem using Anaphora

We Should Fight For

We should fight for, independence.
We may be out of slavery,
But we are still under oppression.

We should fight for, lives.
Everyday children and people die
Because of their governments mistakes,
For things they cannot change alone.

We should fight for, equality.
For people are scared,
To open packages,
To carry cell phones.
They might blow up.
They might get shot,
All because of the color of their skin.

We should fight for, FREEDOM!

Juwan’s Lilting Rythm

Bottle Fed Baby Goat:

Ram
Bam
Waggle my tail!

🌊🧟‍♂️ Sea monster 🌊🧟‍♂️

This is my example of a lilting rhythm.

                      SEA MONSTER

STOMACH CHURNING,
EYE BURNING,
CRAPPY FACED,
POOP BASED,
IN THE SEA, NEXT TO YE’.

Brennan’s Lilting Rythm.

A wind blown leaf:
I ran
I jumped
And I flew through the air.

Class Cooperation of Fyrian’s Transformation.

FYRIAN’S TRANSFORMATION.
Tiny dragon
Horrified
Melon nosed
Weak winged
Plumped rump
Can’t jump

Political Cartoon II

Brennan’s Political Cartoon

A Lilting Rythm.

We just learned about a lilting rhythm in our Brave Writer, studying about THE GIRL WHO DRANK THE MOON by: Kelly Barnhill. Her lilting rhythm was: ‘And the more they hoped the more the clouds of sorrow lifted, drifted, and burned away in the heat of a brightening sky.’ (Chapter 38, page 315). Here is my lilting rhythm about bacon frying.
Bacon Frying
Sizzlin’
Cracklin’
Poppin’ into my mouth.
